Without your help we are unable to provide the experiences to the young people. Our annual running costs just to meet and keep our equipment secure is over £10k per year. The group is run 100% by volunteers, ensuring all money raised is invested in the young people.

Why do we need a lottery?

Our running costs have gone up, yet we want to continue to invest in our camping equipment, in our own kayaks, and in the training of younger leaders to take people out safely on hills and water – so we can carry on offering the best life-skills we can. To keep Scouting affordable for all, we have to seek these additional costs from outside of our youth sections.

Which is why we are setting up our 59 Club. It’s a bit like a 100 Club – but there are only 59 members! It runs at the start of each month, twelve times a year, and the National Lottery Bonus Ball number is the deciding winner from the first draw of the month (be it a Wednesday or Saturday – whichever is first).

How to Join

Registration is simple, please click on the link at the bottom of this page and you will be taken to our members website, please complete your details on the form and submit it to us. We will send you a welcome email and once we have reached the required numbers to start the lottery we will ask you to complete a Direct Debit Mandate.

Please be aware the form for capturing your details is designed for the child members, therefore please add your name to both the child and your details boxes.

We require your data of birth to confirm you are over the age of 18.

Payment

Payment for the lottery will be by Direct Debit only, we are offering these options

  • £15 Per Quarter
  • £30 Every six months
  • £60 Once a year
