So what did the Group get up to last month? Well – to be honest – with all the school nativities, plays, concerts and parties, we simply do not compete – so December is never our busiest month! 

  • the Squirrel Drey finished the term with Chilli’s Chocolate Challenge. After taking things steady for their first term, Cinnamon and the leader team will be opening the Squirrel throttles, growing from 18 to 24 in the next few weeks
  • our Beaver Colony rehearsed a range of carols before entertaining the Elm Bank pensioners on their last evening, then distributing the Christmas cards made by the Cub Pack
  • the Cub Pack spent their last evening hanging around in Rock Up at Rushden Lakes, clipped to safety ropes as they defied gravity
  • the Scout Troop finished formally with a bang over at the Laser Quest in Wellingborough,  followed by small groups completing the Swimmers Badge, and a dedicated group the Digital Makers levels 1 – 4 over the Christmas holiday with an equally dedicated Yvonne.

Following various leader team meetings, the term’s programmes have now been issued to most sections promising many an adventure and activity this coming year, and all sections will be restarting this following week …
