This term our Cubs have continued meeting on zoom, just before Christmas we attempted online cooking with the cubs managing to cook a cake in a microwave. From this cup our Cub’s have continued to grow and experiment with a number of pack meetings focusing on cooking this term. The cubs have learnt basic food hygiene. They had the confidence to talk about the different foods learning how they are grouped before discussing different ways to prepare and cook them.
Last week all this knowledge was demonstrated by every member of the pack, when the zoom session was turned over to members. Following a quick Grand Howl all members cooked a three course meal live on zoom whilst the leaders asked questions.
All the cubs stretched themselves to ensure a tasty dinner was prepared.
